NITINEXᵀᴹ is a sterile-packaged compression staple system designed to provide fast and easy fixation of fractures, osteotomies, and joint arthrodesis.
Constructed of nickel-titanium (nitinol) alloy per ASTM F2063, NITINEXᵀᴹ implants have been engineered to provide powerful and continuous compression.
Featuring an increased bridge and leg width, NITINEXᵀᴹ staples distribute forces consistently across a wider surface area and increase compression strength. The extra wide bridge and leg width also aid in resisting internal torsional and bending forces.
To minimize soft tissue irritation, NITINEXᵀᴹ staples feature edge chamfers along the bridge that allow for flush seating.
NITINEXᵀᴹ implants feature recessed teeth which have been designed to increase strength in the corners and increase pullout resistance.
